For Maurizio Gabbana, creativity represents the transmission of the artist’s inner life within the social and moral sphere.

Thus, he aims to interpret and convey an inspiration which – formerly a challenge – is now a social problem: domestic violence, often a dramatic reality hidden by a veil of hypocrisy.

Gabbana delves into the problem by breaking down its walls: he gives a photographic reading of the dialectic between man and woman, which can start off as psychological violence only to turn physical, to the point where it destroys a child’s self-esteem.
