Laetitia Ricci and Chiara Lorenzetti achieve an intense and profound collaboration within which to reflect and connect with one’s own fragility. The starting point is the Japanese art of kintsugi, a practice through which ceramic objects are repaired by enhancing the cracks with pure gold dust, mixing philosophy and craftsmanship. After Lorenzetti’s ceramic intervention, Ricci focuses photographically on the philosophical and emotional value of kintsugi, recreating feelings such as sharing, introspection, and the desire to enter silently and delicately into intimate and personal stories.
