The exhibition brings together 74 photographs – portraits, landscapes, research – by 57 authors who were published in the magazine ‘Ferrania’ (1947- 1967) for the quality of their work, as a result of which they became internationally renowned. Exponents of the ‘La bussola’ (Giuseppe Cavalli, Giuseppe Balocchi) and ‘La gondola’ (Gianni Berengo Gardin, Fulvio Roiter) circles, scholars such as Italo Zannier and Alfredo Camisa, professionals such as Mario De Biasi and Folco Quilici, women such as Carla Cerati and Chiara Samugheo, great creative artists such as Mario Giacomelli and Luigi Veronesi made their debut here, and visiting this exhibition is like retracing the history of Italian photography.
