The Ego plays with the Id, jokes with the Super Ego and, looking in the mirror, finds out that being alone is not enough. The inspiration offered by the surrealist vision and the insights of his beloved Man Ray show Marco Circhirillo the path towards the creation of an aesthetically spectacular and philosophically complex project. The multiplying of the human figure – as the photographer does with his own and with that of others – hints, in fact, to everyone’s desire to be actor and spectator of a reality that is to be observed from thousands of points of view, that has to be experienced in its different spatiotemporal dimensions through multiple roles.
