Giacomo Ceruti presents an authentic war reportage. Aware of being a young man born and raised in a privileged context, Ceruti left for Ukraine where he stayed for three months as a volunteer travelling between Mykolaïv, Odessa, Kiev and Kherson. In a landscape marred by destruction and occupation, with occupied villages with no water and electricity, Ceruti captures both the horror of a war on Europe’s doorstep and the combative resilience of a population willing to show what is happening in their land.
