Ten years after his death, honouring Pietro Broggini through his photos of two design projects. Skylines Over Me studies the skyline of Frankfurt and its connection to human presence – or, rather, to its shadow – through an interplay of lights and colours. In Il pensiero bianco, Broggini literally immerses spaces and objects into a milky dimension, almost divesting them of their physical nature. This sort of alienation notwithstanding, we do perceive a connection – perhaps the gaze of the photographer himself. The exhibition is part of the “Gilda’s Wall Art for Value” project, promoted by the gallery Gilda Contemporary Art.
