A series of black-and-white photographs taken over three years in the Po Valley capture its rarefied atmosphere and realism in the sort of atmospheric silence – almost sacred and ghostly – typical of outings in the valley. These black-and-white shades turn the Known into something equally sacred and silent. The photographer’s wanderings enable us to discover lights and objects from different time periods, mixed with a vigorous, wild Nature.
