How does one define the undefined? How does one photograph loneliness, invisibility? A collective of artists and photographers from different geographical backgrounds (Mahesh Balasubramanian, Matteo Ceschi, Steve Coleman, Keith Goldstein and John Meehan) interpret the very concepts of nonbelonging and ‘impersonality’, with reference to Marc Augé and the definition of non-place. Because the pandemic can, perhaps, open up new perspectives. And maybe a new beginning could arise from a non-place. A reportage that treads the fine line between street and urban photography for a new interpretation of contemporaneity.
