A reportage made during the first month of the war in Ukraine, in those places where the war seemed to be still latent. In particular, the subject of Prestigiacomo’s work is the city of Lviv which, apparently distant and detached from the destructive scenario, shows two distinct faces: on the one hand the suffering caused by war and propaganda, on the other an apparent perception of a non-existent state of emergency. A dichotomy that will build an even more complex story through the observer’s gaze. The project is part of the exhibition “Images, Beyond Borders”.
