Taken between 2014 and 2020, these portraits of some of the most prominent Italian bloggers show not only their faces, but also a more in-depth study of their world. A world about which we say so much and know so little and which, once upon a time, didn’t even exist. Indeed, Datrino has managed to bring out the psychological aspect of these authors’ double identity: the Blogger and the Character they “become” when writing. A game, underlying all the images in this project, that portrait photography is especially suited to.
