Galli and Rebecchi’s is an intense journey – in colour and black and white – among the peoples, tribes and populations living between the heart of Africa and its extremities: from the Masai in Tanzania to the outskirts of Maputo, from the Tunisian refugee camp of Choucha to the Libyan border crossed by fleeing peoples. Uniting people observing ancient traditions, people living among the dumps and fleeing peoples is a common thread, that of the gaze. An intense gaze that involves the spectator in a reality that is deeper and wider than is perceived.
