A reportage started in 1990 and still in progress. The photographer Giacomo Bretzel has an intimate and special relationship with Montemagno, a small village in Tuscany famous for olive pressing. A unique and timeless place rendered in Brezel’s reportage thanks to the intimacy that links him to this territory, where his grandfather had a main role in the artisanal culture, severely threatened some years ago when a fire destroyed the majority of the Mediterranean scrub, woods and daily life of the village.
