A photo-reportage shot mainly in black and white and portraying various processions during Easter – Catholic and Orthodox – in the cities of Cagliari and Jerusalem. Religions and calendars that differ from one another, yet share the urge for specific collective celebrations and rituals. The reportage ends with pictures of processions of observant Jews during Shabbat. Thus, Maja Galli captures the holy moment when different peoples gather to celebrate a moment of faith which, in an increasingly secular and materialistic world, is organised in the city streets.
