Palazzo Durini places European and Chinese artists in conversation with one another. The exhibition aims to highlight the civic and social role of photography, a media that proves invaluable as a starting point for more in-depth analyses, where the image capturing a moment offers food for thought as it urges viewers to become aware of a situation or a historic moment, and perhaps rouses their desire to support a cause, to raise awareness or even just to understand the message. Photography has the ability to convey social values and draw attention to uncomfortable topics.
