The landscape photographer, more than anyone else, has long dreamt of being able to have a bird’s freedom to take in sweeping views of the horizon. Thanks to the use of drones this is made possible: they provide a panoramic view, elevated from the level of the earth, without a fixed point of observation. This is how Stefano Barattini created these shots that, from landscapes, become abstract paintings. Flying over cultivated fields, the photographer captured geometric details, lines, spaces and colours.
