The world of performance is fascinating, it appeals to a passionate audience that follows and confronts the artists, finding its moments of highest involvement when the audience is both spectator and co-protagonist of the action. Fabrizio Garghetti is the third element in this dynamic: without his attentive camera, the works of Spoerri and Mosconi, Chiari and Vautier, Higgins and Yoko Ono, to name but a few, would remain only in the memory of those who were present. Whereas these photographs, the result of a long work of genuine cultural militancy, take us inside the performances, fixing them in time.
