Nicolò Quirico’s research focuses on memory and history. The photo shoot is disassembled and reassembled to achieve an ideal vision and then printed on a collage of vintage book’s sheets. The eye studies the architectures and gives them their own voice made of presences. The basilar elements of this work are: the city and its architectural volumes, and the books representing a concentration of both memories and the knowledge of men who create those memories. On the one hand, the shots are quite intricate, to convey a formal look, but on the other the texts that make up the texture tell the tale of what happened during their lifetime.
